Alpha Omega Veterans Services will host the 19th Annual Alpha Omega Golf Classic on

Monday, September 9, at Windyke Country Club.

​

This annual golf classic honors the losses that our great nation incurred on 9/11 and serves as a reminder of how our country was forever changed on that day. This being the 23nd anniversary of this tragic event, we hope to not only remember, but build a future that honors those lives lost that fateful day.

This event provides much needed funding that allows us to serve the military veterans who have fought for our precious freedoms, defended our Constitution and who now so desperately need our support and assistance.

Our new 22,000 sq. ft. administrative headquarters, houses our veterans in a campus style facility that provides enhanced transitional supportive services for our veterans. The facility will also offer services for our permanently housed veterans, such as exercise facilities, basketball gymnasium, hobby shop & full service PC Lab.  A holistic approach that also includes alternative therapies, such as horticultural therapy through our Urban Farm, equine therapy, art therapy and fishing are offered.

Windyke Country Club, located at 8535 Winchester Rd, Memphis, TN 38125, offers tree lined fairways with mature oaks, pines & cypress trees, beautiful lakes, and Champion Bermuda, maintained at a speed of 10’ to 11’ on the stimpmeter. It is known for consistently great fairways and is considered one of the best courses in Memphis.
